DHA Commits to Use GSA Contract Vehicles for its Health Information Technology (HIT) Requirements

The Defense Health Agency (DHA) announced it will partner with General Services Administration (GSA) for its Health Information Technology (HIT) procurements. Since market research showed an overlap between the agencies’ contract vehicles, DHA decided that a partnership will promote outcome standardization, streamline the procurement process, and reduce cost.

As part of this comprehensive business approach, DHA will meet its HIT objectives by placing orders against GSA’s portfolio of contract vehicles such as Alliant, Alliant SB, 8(a) Stars II, VETS and Schedule 70 while planning how to incorporate upcoming vehicles like Alliant 2 and VETS 2.
