DCAA Floor Checks and Employee Interviews

What should contractors expect when DCAA gives notification for an upcoming floor check?

The purpose of floor checks is to evaluate if the contractor:

  1. Is compliant with their timekeeping internal controls and procedures
  2. Has reliable employee time records, and
  3. Verifies the employees actually worked, the job(s) they were assigned and time is being charged to the appropriate job & classification
