In this video, Aronson consultant Aaron Solar shows you how to create custom fields in Cognos Impromptu, such as creating a single date field using if/then statements against the original POP beginning/end dates, as well as the mod dates in the contract master file. He also demonstrates how to report contract type by converting the numerical database field to a human-friendly name like FFP or CPFF.
